The UK Operations Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the UK team.
  • Contribute to Regional strategy as part of the Regional Management Team.
  • Directly manage the OTR team and be responsible for project execution and delivery to maximize on time delivery (OTD) within the required quality standards.
  • Develop the skill set of the OTR team to enable effective project execution standards and improve efficiency.
  • Liaise with clients on project progress and reporting.
  • In conjunction with ITO, analyse feasibility for short cycle order (SCO) jobs.
  • In conjunction with Demand Planning & ITO, develop and manage Regional Capacity Model.
  • Working with Sourcing, help develop execution strategies including subcontracting structure and lead the subcontracting process, pre-qualifications, and negotiations.
  • Support customer tender documents submittals and required responses to customers.
  • Monitor project performance in all areas including cost, schedule, engineering, EHS and quality.
  • Identify performance issues and provide the leadership with solutions to resolve issues and ensure the project success.
  • Use six sigma methodology and tools to identify and evaluate Critical To Quality (CTQ) metrics including response time and accuracy to improve customer.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Prior experience in a managerial position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Engineering
  • Prior experience in an Oil & Gas field services role
  • Prior experience in supervising commercial operations.
