GENERAL SUMMARY



This subject matter expert will deliver training and assessments for EMC Global Services, their partners and customers. Courses in the curriculum will include both classroom training and virtual.

Focusing in specifically in Advanced Cyber Defense and Security Analytics, this professional will work with both corporate and field stakeholders to ensure that courses, assessments and certification exams are technically accurate and relevant to the current field environment. In addition to technology/product competence and training capabilities, this individual will need to be self-motivated and work effectively in cross-functional, dynamic project environments.


This role will support training needs across EMEA, so travel across the region and globally will be required.



PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



· Work both independently and in project teams to deliver technical training courses and assessments for EMC Global Services (field), their partners and customers, including evaluation of student and instructor feedback for continuous improvement. .

· Setup, configure and troubleshoot complex lab configurations for hands on technical training, including assisting courseware development as needed.

· Deliver classroom and virtual classroom technical training and facilitate hands on lab activities, including cross-training/qualifying other instructors.

· Proficiency in operating systems, networking, databases and storage technology.

· Presales technical/systems engineering or IT professional services skills.

· Develop an expertise in ACD and Security Analytics solutions.

· Expertise in training delivery and classroom management.

· Consulting skills in the assessment of requirements and evaluation of feedback.




SKILLS


· Knowledge of SIEM, SOC and APT is essential

· Strong consulting/customer facing background is important

· Experienced working in a training role is very advantageous.

· Fluent English required. Additional European languages are preferred.

· Strong presentation experience and confident working with a large audience.

· Willing to travel regularly across EMEA and on occasion outside the region

· Qualifications ins one or more of: CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, GIAC: Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC: Computer Forensic Analyst
