An enthusiastic, recently qualified Fund Accountant is required for a well respected boutique Hedge fund in the West End.
An enthusiastic, recently qualified Fund
Accountant is required for a well respected boutique Hedge fund in the
West End. The position has arisen as a result of the rapid growth seen
over the past year, and is needed to match increasing demand.
Responsibilities:
- Review daily, weekly and monthly NAV's
- Produce daily P&L statements
- Prepare quarterly and annual statutory reports
- Respond to investor queries
- Support with budgeting and forecasting for the fund
- Ensure good relations with external contacts (administrators, auditors etc.)
- Work closely with internal colleagues including front office and the Head of Fund Accounting
- Assist with ad-hoc duties as required
This position is well suited to a newly qualified ACA (or equivalent). The team is extremely supportive and will provide additional training where required.
Experience:
- Educated to degree level
- Newly Qualified ACA (or equivalent), or a maximum of 2 years PQE
- Confident Communicator with strong analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS & UK GAAP
- Self-motivated
This position will pay between £50,000 - £60,000 and will only consider high calibre candidates with a solid background.
