You will have the ability to develop differentiated Oracle value propositions based on a combination of domain knowledge, consulting capability and experience of enterprise products and services. You’ll be competent in taking Oracle solutions to market through IBM’s sector leaders, account/client managers and though direct connects and personal eminence.

You’ll be experienced in developing executive and senior management relationships in client organizations as well as being able to identify and develop the most attractive opportunities for potential engagement. With responsibility for the ongoing qualification of these opportunities, you’ll decide whether to engage, disqualify, or refer opportunities to other IBM groups. You will drive Oracle sales in new and existing accounts and lead opportunity development with other IBM team members and clients to convert the opportunity into a delivery engagement. You’ll bring passion, credibility and a point of view to our clients to help them solve their business challenges. You’ll also have the ability to leverage their sales experience and demonstrate a strong will to win.

Required:

 Proven experience at a leadership level in the corporate world
 The gravitas to engage with CxOs in their language and build relationships which are capable of being leveraged by IBM
 Successful and proven track record of Oracle sales and account growth
 In depth and proven experience of consultative and solution selling skills
 Self drive & motivation for sales
 Working experience in solutioning and delivery of the Oracle “stack”
 Ability to work across multiple sectors or industry verticals
 Have an understanding of the Oracle marketplace including competitors, value propositions and channels to market
 A Consulting Approach to selling including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and experience of being part of the contract negotiation team in building sound commercial models. You will also:

 Be willing to travel as required including travel around Europe to fit business needs
 Have outstanding teamwork skills working across various groups
 Possess excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills
 Be comfortable presenting to any size of group at any level

People Skills:

• Will successfully combine strong leadership skills with sound technical knowledge and ability to clearly communicate key recommendations to clients.
• Track record of creating enduring client relationships based on trust, successful business development and credible programme execution
• Has developed relationships of mutual trust with people inside and outside of their organisation based on respect, integrity, positive regard and an appreciation of the uniqueness of the individual
• Willingness to commit significant amount of time to develop themselves, and other individuals, teams, and the Oracle community within IBM.
• Fluent English. Based in the UK, but willing to work across UK and Ireland with some international travel as required for business needs.
