Database Security Analyst required with remediation planning and documentation skills. You will join a team executing remediation plans to satisfy internal and external auditors. Previous experience within Investment banking crucial.
The role is focused around managing risk and requires experience working on different database platforms:
  • You will be responsible for raising risks
  • Managing risk remediation plans
  • Chasing the DBAs executing the remediation plans
  • Managing DBA Risk tool development (in house tools)
  • Liaising with other risk teams & other technical areas.
Technical Skills:
  • Must have understanding of databases, e.g. how databases work (logins, security, schemas etc.)
  • Knowledge of database risks: understanding of how DBA accounts are granted privileges; how application accounts differ from user accounts & support accounts, etc.
  • Knowledge of Guardium (or similar product) would be ideal.
  • Ability to provide some day to day monitoring / alert investigation of in-house tools for audit purposes.
