2014 Ex-Military Internship Programme – London

Our military internship programme will give you first-hand experience of working at J.P. Morgan and make the most of your potential in a brand new environment.

Programme Overview

The internship programme aims to:

• 
  Assist the transition of military candidates into the job market
• 
  Provide the opportunity to gain exposure into financial services
• 
  Provide an opportunity to strengthen CV and therefore chances in the job market
• 
  Provide candidates with an opportunity to build a network within J.P. Morgan
• 
  It is not an objective of the internship to lead to full time employment.

Programme Structure

• 
  Duration of 3 months (with the possibility of extension)
• 
  Internships will take place in London and Bournemouth
• 
  Interns will attend an Ex-Military Internship induction
• 
  Interns will benefit from a formal mid and final internship review
• 
  Lunch & Learn sessions with senior leaders across the firm
• 
  Interns will be provided with a mentor
• 
  Wherever possible the internships will be paid

Qualifications:

Selection Criteria

All applicants must:

• 
  Be educated to degree level or equivalent, gaining a minimum of 2:1 or equivalent
• 
  Be able to demonstrate top performance throughout military career
• 
  Have completed the initial military engagement period
• 
  Have the right to work in the UK
• 
  Submit a CV and covering letter indicating experience and areas of functional interest.

Selection Timeline

• 
  Interview and assessment day: February 7, 2014
• 
  Internships begin: April 1, 2014
