Analyst, responsible for managing the Revenue Forecasting process for

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Revenue Forecast Reporting for EMEA Management governing a 150 person Professional Services work force deployed throughout Europe
- Input to regular forecast reviews with senior EMEA management by providing comprehensive expertise on the subject
- Facilitate resolution of forecasting issues
- Escalate critical forecasting issues to the Head of PMO
- Maintain the Revenue Forecast process and guidelines
- Ad-hoc financial analysis to support the EMEA management team
- Support for the annual budget process
Tasks:
- Create the EMEA Revenue Forecast on a weekly basis, liaising with data owners across EMEA offices as necessary
- Challenge the forecast data provided by data owners to ensure the overall quality of the forecast remains viable
- Coach data owners to develop quality and consistent forecasts
- Analyse deltas on the forecast data to understand week on week movement in the forecast at a client level
- Analyse the Sales Pipeline and development of action to be taken by data owners to secure the revenue in the short term (<3 months)
- Provide Financial Revenue Reporting for Senior Management, including the addition of “actuals” data as it is made available throughout the year to evaluate performance against budget
- Input to a monthly review of Actuals” data and client level delta analysis between forecast and Actuals
- Development of additional analysis to support Management decision making around staffing, budgeting, and other financial questions relevant to the management of the EMEA division
- Occasional travel to sites throughout EMEA to establish forecasting best practice
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree level qualification and associated proven experience
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Proven ability to create and analyse financial data
- High numerical literacy
- Highly trustworthy and with integrity to work with business sensitive data and take part in confidential business discussions
- Ability to translate numerical data into business language and convey key messages clearly
- Ability to set and monitor priorities / time management
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues from the EMEA offices
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Good influencing skills
- Ability to create practical and workable solutions for changing forecasting needs
- Proven interpersonal skills at all levels
- Self-starting and flexible attitude
KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Finance Industry
- Experience of managing a complex forecasting process – multi-currency, multi-location etc.
- Report writing
- Understanding of Energy, Finance and Commodities markets is preferable
IT SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills are essential
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Database knowledge would be an advantage
