Group Accounting Policy Manager – Global Bank – £70 -80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Global Bank. You will be joining the Accounting Policy team, you will have the responsibility for specifying the format and content of the groups external reports and provide technical support to the Group Chart of Accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Review accounting opinions on the implementation of new accounting standards to Finance and Business teams
• Formulate and recommend Group accounting policies, providing detailed practical guidance
• Provide technical support on the implementation of new accounting standards
• Research the Groups response to future accounting developments

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with post qualified experience in a large finance function and a consistent record of strong professional and academic achievement. You will need to be able to confidently demonstrate an ability to interact with senior stakeholders and management. Strong IT skills and advanced Excel are required and experience with Hyperion Financial Management would be advantageous. The successful candidate will demonstrate the drive, ambition and analytical ability to make a positive impact on this business.
