The Performance and Reward Team is part of the Human Capital Group
and advises clients on Executive Compensation and Benefits, Share Plans,
Human Capital due diligence and Mergers and Acquisitions services,
Reward Management and Global Mobility Policy. Clients range across all
industries, with a focus on advising fast growth UK companies and US and
European corporates operating in the UK, and typical projects can range
from a week to six months in duration. Human Capital is run as a global
business within Ernst & Young.
We are seeking a Manager with relevant experience in the design and implementation of share schemes.

Your responsibilities
- Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
- Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
- Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken
- Contribute to successfully extracting maximum value for both Ernst & Young and clients from the tax services delivered whilst managing risk appropriately for both client and the firm
Skills and Experience required for the role of Tax Manager
- Strong and motivated team player
- Experienced tax practitioner with reviewing skills and expertise in functional area
- Client driven and strategically and commercially aware
- Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral.
- Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work
- Ideally ACA/ACCA/CA; or
- Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course; or Law qualification.
- CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
