Senior Consultant to work on our Capital
Markets implementation projects, responsible for helping our clients
implement and improve their transaction lifecycle management (covering
all aspects including trade modeling/ capture, valuation, risk
monitoring, reporting, workflows, back office) using our FINDUR product;
based in London.

This is a challenging role for an enthusiastic problem-solver, looking to leverage their 5+ years of experience in the industry to help our clients implement and improve their transaction lifecycle management (covering all aspects including trade modeling/ capture, valuation, risk monitoring, reporting, workflows, back office) using our FINDUR product.

As our clients business constantly evolves, so does our product. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to & take ownership of new products and functionalities on a regular basis.
Excellent communication, organization and customer-facing skills are essential. Given the current and growing client base, flexibility and travel are essential for this role.

This is a challenging role for an enthusiastic problem-solver, looking to leverage their 5+ years of experience in the industry to help our clients implement and improve their transaction lifecycle management (covering all aspects including trade modeling/ capture, valuation, risk monitoring, reporting, workflows, back office) using our FINDUR product.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Running the scope analysis with the client to understand the requirements/ processes.
- Leading the functional design of the implementation.
- Implementing the software with the help of other members of the implementation team (e.g. technical consultants, SME). This would generally include configuration of the software (e.g. building yield curves), writing functional specifications for custom components to be built by the technical team (e.g. custom results, custom reports).
- Writing and/ or running test cases.
- Supporting/ training the client throughout the project. This means for example, being able to explain FINDUR’s valuations & other Risk results, providing training on the system’s functionalities, providing advice on best practices & how to make the most of the system given the client’s requirements and processes.
- Reporting to the project & team managers.

SUMMARY OF DESIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALITIES:
Business
- 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, with good knowledge of Fixed Income & FX products.
- Knowledge of the following products would be a plus: Inflation derivatives, Equity derivatives, Islamic products.
- Experience in structured products modeling / pricing would be a plus.
- Good understanding of Front-to-Back transaction lifecycle.
IT / System implementation
- Knowledge of at least one financial trading, risk management system, ideally FINDUR.
- Experience with all aspects of a system implementation from requirements gathering to testing & support.
- Understanding of relational databases. Some SQL knowledge is a plus.
- A past experience in programming (e.g. VBA, C, Java) would be a plus (note: this role does not involve any programming).
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in both business and technology.
- Willing to constantly learn.
- Resilient and calm under pressure.
- Strong client facing, communication skills.
- Ability to take initiatives and work independently when needed.
- Must be willing to travel.
- A degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Computer science.
