This role is responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive strategies to effectively communicate with employees on behalf of American Express Business Travel Service Delivery senior management. In addition to supporting broad strategic and change management communications, this position is also responsible for the drafting and approval of presentations and other communication materials; and developing FAQs and talking points on sensitive topics pertinent to this business. It will also manage projects and initiatives as required.

Principle accountabilities include:

Employee Communications
- Support the business goals of GBT by ensuring the development and implementation of strategic communications programs that deliver key messages about the business, its products and services, the team’s expertise and thought leadership.
- Inspire our employees and foster employee engagement through creating structured communication plan through multiple channels (direct, through leaders, intranet/ website etc.)
- Develop and implement the communication elements of change management plans (teaming with Human Resources)

§ Assist business unit leaders in communicating thoughtfully and effectively to various internal audiences

§ Help ensure alignment and communication between different teams within the business and build a broad understanding of business unit goals and best practices across American Express.

§ Provide internal messaging for company-wide initiatives and issues as well as issues unique to GBT.

Project Management
- Support Director, Strategic Planning on global projects and initiatives.

Qualifications
- Superior written, verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in executing internal communications activities
- Excellent Project management skill and established ability to manage multiple priorities and demanding work environment
- Team player adaptable to diverse group of colleagues and internal business clients
- Needs to be a self-starter, good project manager and able to work independently while providing strong support to a global team.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
