· Responsible for fostering and driving an effective relationship with EMC Service Provider in line with EMC portfolio of complex products and services

· Gather and analyses competitive intelligence to position EMC and drive consumption of EMC technologies within  Computacenter to ensure the retention, growth and customer satisfaction of EMC’s strategic business within a specific ‘sales programme’

· Act as internal champion within Computacenter to enable partners to strategically place EMC as preferred solution to end user

· Maintains a highly interactive local relationship with EMC accounts team to achieve ongoing initiatives

· Ability to influence others to achieve results that is aligned to EMC and Computacenter needs

· Effectively work with internal departments on contracts; renews and upgrades to existing agreements

· Conducts strategic analysis of market trends, competition and new opportunities

· Effectively interface at senior management level to clearly articulate forecast and pipeline

· Can reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships

Ability to articulate business relevance of product information to support the sales cycle







Required Skills and Experience:

· EMC Information Storage Management Certified

· Demonstrable EMC products and solutions knowledge

· Demonstrable knowledge of Flash Technology

· Proven Sales and Commercial Acumen

· Proven ability to establish internal and external networks in order to drive business outcomes

· Experience of working in highly matrixed organisation

· Business Degree (or Equivalent)

· Adept negotiator who can create long term relationships and business value to our customers

· Excellent presentation and relationship skills

· Adaptability, flexibility, energy and integrity

· Must be a team player – ability to interact with both the direct and indirect teams both within EMC and our partners

· Strong relationship building skills

· Solid judgment and decision making capability

· Driven and, focused, good planning skills

· Strong customer centric approach

· Results driven with win/win attitude and high energy levels

· Integrity and Trust in all business dealings

· Must be highly, articulate and have natural rapport building skills at the most senior level.

· Proven ability to learn (i.e. gain product and marketing knowledge)

· A thorough understanding of the Channel model and IT market business.

· Strong communication, listening and influencing skills with the ability to interact with senior level contacts within major businesses
