Analyst position for candidates with 2-4 years of PFI/PPP experience.
THE DEVELOPER
Major UK based developer.  The firm invests in key UK and global infrastructure assets.  

THE ROLE
  • Analysing and valuing existing projects and future opportunities for assets in the portfolios
  • Identifying and realising asset value enhancement opportunities both for individual projects and for the portfolio as a whole
  • Responsible for the optimisation of allocated assets within the Equity Valuation project
  • Completing project reviews focusing on the commercial, operational and financial performance of individual assets.
  • Supporting the identification, development and execution of secondary market transactions (acquisition and disposal), including Project Company refinancing
  • Evaluating PFI/infrastructure assets (valuation, performance and financial projections)
  • Valuing investments, modelling and calculating investment and portfolio performance
  • Origination and delivery of value enhancements on projects and the portfolio
  • Reviewing and reporting the performance of existing investments
  • Providing support for primary and secondary market transactions
  • Various and varied ad hoc analysis, including refinancing and transaction support.

THE CANDIDATE
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in the provision of financial analysis, including sound awareness of valuation concepts (DCF in particular) and other typically used investment metrics
  • An experienced and confident interrogator of complex financial models. Will be capable of reviewing and where required amending financial models
  • A good grasp of financial accounting and UK corporation tax concepts
  • Exposure to project finance, private equity, investment management or similar experience would be an advantage.
