This is a rare opportunity to make a
move into corporate finance and join my client, a thriving specialist
boutique, unrivalled in its key market of marketing services with new
success in technology and healthcare. Strong deal flow has created this
opportunity.
The firm has ambitious plans to grown
deeper into its sectors over the next three years, is keen to enable all
of its people to achieve their own career goals and will support them
to the hilt with development to do that. Promotion here is down to your
capability and drive, rather than time served. It's
a great place to work, where people matter and a work life balance is
important so if you are unsure that endless long hours for no reason and
a stifling environment are right for you, this is an opportunity to
explore further.
The role involves taking full day-to-day responsibility for deals, working with Partners and Analysts to ensure the deal progresses as it should, managing all key stakeholders along the way. There is therefore significant client contact and your interpersonal skills along with technical competence need to be strong.
You could come from a range of different backgrounds. Ideally you'll be working in either the marcoms or tech markets in corporate finance advisory currently; you'll be used to managing the whole deal cycle from pitch preparation to close. You may be with an investment bank or a Big 4 CA firm and seeking a more entrepreneurial environment, where you can make a real mark. You may be at an early stage in your career as an Associate or Manager and want to take the next step to develop your learning but either way you'll have a passion for M & A and want to do the very best for your clients as well as your career. However you might also be currently an ACA qualified FD, within a related market and still at an early stage in your career, considering a move into advisory, or with a similar profile have strong experience in Transaction Services and be seeking a similar move. In all cases a keen interest in, and strong knowledge of, either the marcoms or technology sectors will be important.
To discuss this opportunity further drop me a quick note at jbuckley@resourcingpartners.com and we can arrange to speak. Alternatively ping your CV and a covering note through and we can pick it up from there.
