Leading PE House seeks high calibre Associate

Seeking a step into Private Equity?  Due to increasing deal flow, our client, a leading global Private Equity firm is seeking an Associate for their London based Investment Team.  Investing across a range of sectors including Retail, Consumer Goods, FMCG and Industrials, this exceptional opportunity will work in small teams supporting VPs, Principals & MDs gaining exceptional exposure throughout the deal process from initial investment screening to deal execution.

Responsibilities will include:
·              Conducting detailed sector & company research & analysis
·              Providing valuation models and supporting due diligence
·              Deal execution and transaction management

Candidates will be either Chartered Accountants or M&A/Leveraged Finance professionals with exceptional academics and very strong interpersonal skills; displaying the ability to liaise effectively with senior management and external clients.  Candidates will have experience of M&A, Restructuring or other Corporate Finance activities gained within a leading Accountancy Practice or reputable Investment Bank.  Candidates will display excellent commercial awareness, financial modeling & analytical skills, coupled with a good knowledge of DCF & LBO valuation techniques.
