Change recruitments client, a well known global financial services business, is seeking a number of experienced contract business analysts to join their growing reconciliations change team based in Glasgow.

Change recruitments client, a well known global financial services business, is seeking a number of experienced contract business analysts to join their growing reconciliations change team based in Glasgow.
The Reconciliations change team are responsible for delivering all Recs related projects to the global business - including operational, systems, technology, finance and organisational change which affect cash, security and balance sheet reconciliation and control, providing support across all asset classes.
Main Duties

• Engaging with and managing Business and IT relationships throughout Project Lifecycle
• Mapping As Is and Future control processes for each project
• Reviewing and validating new Requests for Work
• Validating proof of concepts
• Advising on control best practice during design phase
• Creation and sign off of business requirements documentation (BRD)
• Agree test approach, participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases
• Ensuring implementations stay on track and completed to agreed timelines
• Proficient tracking and reporting on Project Status
• Managing stakeholder involvement at all stages of development and delivery

Basic Experience:

• Financial industry experience essential
• Working knowledge of reconciliations and associated controls
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycle
• Strong communication skills at all levels both written and oral
• Proven track record of delivering change in a Business Analyst capacity
• Self starter able to work independently or as part of a team
• Confident working with multiple stakeholders across Operations, IT and the Business

Preferred Experience:

• Prince 2 qualification, and/or industry standard business analysis certification
• Previous reconciliation development project management experience
• Exposure to governance, control, and risk management
• Proven ability to effectively lead and work across teams at all levels
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to influence and work with senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio)
