My client is a leading financial services market data providor. The seek a talented C++ developer who is looking to further their career and work on their cutting edge systems. The team is seeking a talented software developer to join the technology team in London. My client offers real-time data for more than 8 million global instruments including equities, futures, options, commodities, and precious metals on every major exchange world-wide. Brokerage firms, banks and other institutions power their systems with our tailored data feeds or monitor relevant trading movements using our market data application. This will be a demanding role where you will be able to deploy your skills across a wide and varied range of tasks.

Responsibilities:
* Not only coding but also specifying, designing and developing solutions
* Data feed integration in our ticker plant
* Manage development projects through the whole project life cycle
* Development of in house monitoring and operational tools
* Front end software development
* Value added software development

Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline with strong academic credentials.
* Experienced in C/C++ development
* Experience of development on Windows platforms is essential, experience developing on non-Windows platforms (e.i. Linux) is valuable.
* Experienced with current communication protocols (TCP, HTTP, multicast, etc)
* Familiarity with real time data feeds and financial information is not essential but highly desirable.
