Job description
Here at IBM, we’re constructing a mix of business analytics software and services that is unrivalled. Business analytics and the emerging worlds of ‘big data’ and ‘information life-cycle governance’ are already transforming the way consulting is practiced and our new integrated approach is opening up even more opportunities. IBM is already the acknowledged world leader in this area.

Our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team provides advisory and implementation expertise to help our clients in managing and further exploiting the vast and rapidly growing range of unstructured data. From customer feedback forms to social media, our ECM team is extracting key content and creating new solutions to manage it. Put simply, we design innovative Content Management and Analysis concepts and solutions that help to keep us, and our customers, ahead of the competition.

We’re looking for recognised experts or visionaries in the information space to join us, who can demonstrate a genuine passion for ECM strategies, processes and technologies. You’ll have proven delivery experience around the latest ECM capabilities in the market in your chosen field be that solution architecture, development, business analysis, strategy or project management.

You’ll possess deep knowledge of traditional content management, content analytics, unstructured search, social media analytics or data visualization and the associated key technologies and concepts. Ideally you’ll also have a working knowledge of, and an opinion on, Information Theory, Terminology and Technology, combined with a talent for lateral thinking. Any “hands-on” experience in content analytics will be an advantage, although training can be provided.

You’re most likely working in a ‘top five’ consultancy and will have gained experience across one or more market sectors, however candidates interested in working on our security projects must qualify for or hold a UK Security Clearance.

This is an environment where networking and people skills are extremely important. We’re looking for people who will forge their own relationships, both internally and externally. Do this and you’ll have access to a range of projects and clients unlike any other.
