JOB OVERVIEW
The Finance Pricing Executive is a key role in supporting pricing decisions for our largest accounts and engagements in both the UK and EMEIA FSO.  The evolving role will be dynamic and work with senior decision makers within the business.  Key to the role will be building relationships based on accountability and integrity throughout our diverse business.  The business will view this role as an expert in pricing, account and margin reporting and finance support for business operations.
 
The role will require strong analytical and Excel skills to help understand and evaluate financial data.  The role will also require proven problem solving skills within tight deadlines.  An important part of the role will be verbal and written communication to senior stakeholders.  A small part of the role is relative to month end accounting and budgeting tasks.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Take responsibility for driving the rate card and approval processes. Prepare analysis and Executive Summaries for Leadership of our largest accounts.
  • Provide robust margin modelling in support of our biggest and most complex pursuits. Analyse engagement margin drivers, provide advice and collaborate to maximise results in pricing decisions.
  • Build a network of contacts throughout the business, especially within account teams and the Global Commercial Management team.  To be recognised by that network as an expert in pricing, account and industry reports and key finance systems and processes.
  • Understand the commercial drivers of account and engagement performance.
  • Support/oversee/maintain pricing databases and control lists.
  • Support/oversee/maintain/create pricing reports and processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement in terms of financial, pricing and reporting processes.  Take responsibility for driving some processes. Help to support the margin initiative.
  • Ensure that the information / reports / analysis provided to the business are relevant, timely, and accurate to enable senior management to run the business.  Identify and resolve issues arising from financial reports.
  • Provide support at month end on management accounting tasks within the EMEIA FSO Finance team.
  • Act as a role model, especially for the finance assistants within the team.
  • Provide cover for other members of finance team as appropriate.

 
 
  
REQUIREMENTS 
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong influencing skills with senior decision makers in the business. Can deliver cogent messages, encompassing financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Good knowledge of the Professional Services and Financial Services industries.
  • Good team player with proven ability to build strong relationships with key individuals in the business.
  • Professional, confident, credible communicator, including the ability to connect with a group eg giving a training session, presenting to a large meeting.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
  • Strong computer skills (advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).
  • Good knowledge of how to obtain or create data from numerous systems, combined with the ability to analyse the data efficiently and effectively.
  • Able to work in a self-sufficient manner, operating across multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proven problem solving skills within a tight deadline.
  • Robust, resilient, calm under pressure.
  • Not essential, but maybe part qualified in CIMA, ACCA, AAT.
