This international Asset Manager requires a high calibre Fixed Income Trader to join its highly successful and established trading team in London. The platform is one of the leading Asset Managers globally ranked by AUM and has an award winning strategy.
The successful candidate will be an experience Fixed Income Trader with either a focus on developed or emerging markets working with either a fund platform or trading within a top tier investment bank. The role sits within the trading desk working alongside a leading figure in the fixed income space. This is as close as you will get to trading without actively managing risk.
Responsibilities include:

• Executing trades on behalf of trading desk
• Advise senior traders/portfolio managers on the execution strategy
• Idea generation to enhance the execution platform
• Continuous research within the rates space
• Ensuring the platform achieves the most competitive pricing and exposure in the market
• Being the ‘face’ of the platform and representing them across the fixed income space

The ideal candidate will be a trader in the Fixed Income space that is working within a top tier platform either on the buy or sellside, exposure to rates is preferable along with a proactive approach to trading and strategies.

• 3+ years of relevant experience within the fixed income space
• Rates focused trading experience
• Background working with a reputable platform with a renowned brand
• Broad industry knowledge with extensive exposure to the fixed income space
• Outstanding academic background
