My client, a highly regarded provider of economic research is currently looking to add to their team based in London.

The firm are currently expanding their emerging market coverage and as a result are looking for an economist. You will be working as a key member within the Emerging markets economics division that  will also work along-side the Head of Research therefore should ideally have experience working within a team.



The role will be located in the London office however you will also hold meetings with the global economics team.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the clients house view on macroeconomic drivers as well as political drivers in the region

Sole responsibility for analysis and forecasts of macroeconomic data

Frequent contributions to research publications including daily/weekly market commentaries /economic publications.

Regular meetings and monthly presentations to institutional clients.



In order to be considered you should have experience:-

At least 2 years experience working as an economist – Emerging Market Experience not essential .

Central Banking Experience

Producing and developing regular briefings on the economic environment

You will have the responsibility for generating and presenting the forecasts therefore excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
