An exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Lending Sales force within our southern regional team, reporting to the Regional Director.
• Source Asset Based Lending and Receivables Finance business for Business Finance UK from Professional Introducer contacts base
• Follow up on, and close out telemarketing opportunities
• Maintain and develop own Introducer Base
• Maintain and adhere to company policy re database management and reporting
• Own and manage New Client Acquisition process from enquiry to pay out for each deal
• Meet agreed New Business targets for Income, Asset and Deal Numbers
• Prepare New Business Proposals for Submission to Underwriting
• Operate consistently with GE Key Objectives and Spirit & Letter integrity guidelines
• Degree or similar professional qualification (e.g. FDA Foundation &/or Certificate)
• Experience of successfully marketing via a professional intermediary network
• Experience of successfully selling financial products or similar packages to end corporate users typically with line sizes between £1million to £20 million
• Experience in a banking or asset based lending environment
• Experienced in detailed financial modeling and analysis
• Self motivated and self starter with high degree of determination and initiative
1. Successful track record in financial services sales & marketing or similar role.
2. Successful track record in sourcing, establishing and obtaining business introductions from professional intermediaries
3. Ability to undertake detailed financial analysis including knowledge of a company’s Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flows and similar projections
4. Ability to manage oneself in a day-to-day targeted sales environment, after initial training period
5. Team working skills – ability to fit in with the sales team and wider business, strong interpersonal skills required
6. Strong communication skills both written and verbal (in terms of formulating proposals for Underwriting.
7 Demonstrable critical evaluation skills regarding businesses and their financial performance.
