Highly regarded Investment Management Consultancy seeks project managers and consultants to work on IT and business transformation initiatives. Relevant experience includes systems selection/ integration, TOM design and implementation and strategic technology and business improvement in the Investment Management, Wealth Management and Hedge Fund sectors.

Our client is a highly respected Investment Management Consultancy. It works with Investment Managers, Wealth Managers and Hedge Funds to deliver technology and business process improvement initiatives and is seeking consultants, project managers and business analysts to join the team. Previous consultancy experience is highly desirable.
Currently working with a leading investment manager, hedge fund, consultancy firm or technology vendor, you will have extensive experience of working on strategic IT and business change programmes through the full project life cycle. Involvement in major transformation and regulatory initiatives is desirable as well as knowledge of investment management solutions and platforms including Blackrock Aladdin, Charles River, FNZ, GBST, LatentZero or Thinkfolio. Your experience will include some of the following:

• Project and programme management of change initiatives through the full lifecycle
• In-depth knowledge of the Investment Management, Wealth Management and Hedge Fund sectors
• TOM – both Target Operating Models and Technical Operating Models
• Delivery of technology-enabled change projects within the investment management sector
• Subject matter expertise in investment management, wraps/platforms and life & pensions
• Process improvement and operational efficiency
• Requirements gathering, process mapping and functional testing
• The intermediary market
• Familiarity with current regulation and its impact on the investment management sector
• Applications architecture
• Outsourcing

This is a client-facing role so you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be an enthusiastic self-starter. You must enjoy developing business relationships and being involved in strategic change. Well qualified with a university degree, you must have a successful track record of project management within the investment management, wealth management and hedge fund sectors.
