Leading financial services consultancy seeks consultants, business analysts, project managers and architects for its retail banking and insurance team. It delivers strategic change involving IT, operations and target operating models (TOMs) for retail, corporate and private banks, insurance companies, card issuers and payment processors.

Our client is a highly respected financial services consultancy. Its retail banking and insurance team delivers strategic initiatives involving IT, business improvement  and Target Operating Models for retail, corporate and private banks, insurance, both general insurance and life and pensions, card issuers and payment processors. Due to success and growth, it is seeking to hire consultants,  business analysts, project managers and architects.
You will have experience of working on strategic IT, business process improvement and operating model initiatives as a consultant, business analyst, project manager or architect. Currently working with a consultancy firm, retail bank or insurance company, your experience should include some of the following:

• Record of successfully working on large and complex IT and business improvement projects
• Experience defining and implementing operations and IT operating models covering change the bank and run the bank aspects
• Track record in managing the successful delivery of large, complex programmes/ engagements on time and within budget
• In depth knowledge and understanding of the UK retail banking industry or General Insurance and Life and Pensions
• General process performance (efficiency, error / waste elimination, re-engineering)
• Operating model design and delivery, process transformation, cost reduction and risk and regulation
• Ability to lead and direct large and cross functional teams
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, BPR techniques methodologies
• Organisation wide or function specific business strategy definition and operating model design
• Knowledge and understanding of technical retail banking products with a particular focus on retail banking operations
• Target/ Technical Operating Models
• BACS/ CHAPS payments lifecycle, retail banking products and services
• Familiarity with current regulation and its impact on the banking and insurance sectors

You will be working on high profile change initiatives so excellent presentation and communication skills are key. Suitable candidates must be able to work closely with clients on strategic initiatives, while building and developing successful business relationships.
