Respected Capital Markets Consultancy seeks consultants, business analysts, project managers and architects. It works with Tier 1 Banks and Financial Institutions on high profile technology and business transformation initiatives.

Our client is a respected Capital Markets Consultancy. Due to success and growth it is seeking to hire consultants, business analysts, project managers and architects. It works with Tier 1 Banks and Financial Institutions on high profile Front to Back Office technology and business transformation initiatives.
Currently working with a consultancy firm, investment bank or systems vendor, you will have extensive experience of working on systems and process improvement initiatives as a consultant, business analyst, project manager or technical architect.  Your experience should include some of the following:

• Experience in the implementation of vendor packages in the front, middle or back office (e.g. Calypso, Murex, Summit, GL Trade, Sophis)
• Experience working closely with technology functions throughout the delivery lifecycle to enable a seamless transition to implementation within tight timeframes
• Technical/ Target Operating Models
• Key areas of interest include OTC derivatives, Fixed Income and Equities, Cash and Collateral Management, Clearing and Settlement, Regulatory change and Risk Management including credit, market & operations risk and associated systems
• In-depth understanding of the pre and post trade transaction value chain together with an appreciation of the threats and opportunities presented by market and regulatory change agendas
• Business analysis, requirements definition and system selection support
• In-depth experience of key processes (e.g. pricing, trading, market risk, credit risk, clearing, settlement, reference data)
• In-depth understanding of at least one financial product: listed or OTC derivatives (e.g., FX, Equity, ETD, Fixed Income, Structured Products)
• Experience in developing RFIs/evaluating and interacting with vendors
• Solution architecture, defining the application, integration and data architectures
• In-depth understanding of the key market and regulatory drivers shaping the industry and an ability to articulate these by way of client opportunities
• Clear ability to articulate business requirements to a technical audience
• Understanding of key issues within information management
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, BPR techniques methodologies

Successful candidates must have good analysis and problem solving skills. You will be working on high profile change initiatives so excellent presentation and communication skills are key. Suitable candidates must be able to work closely with clients on strategic initiatives, while building and developing successful business relationships. You will be well qualified academically and have energy and enthusiasm.
