Job description

We are looking for a team leader to run the data migration workstream on our larger SAP projects. This will involve taking ownership of the end-to-end process starting with definition of the data migration scope & strategy to building a delivery team and executing those parts of the process that fall within IBM's scope. Required Skills: Strong SAP Data Migration background with multiple full lifecycle experience across multiple functional areas. Experience with both LSMW and ETL tooling (IBM InfoSphere, Informatica, Business Objects Data Services). Strong execution experience of the data migration lifecycle from strategy through data remediation, mapping, trialling, and execution including reconciliation. Good experience of interacting with business data owners and technical project teams. Experience of managing local and offshore resources. Strong teaming/team leadership skills including planning and reporting. Desirable skills include data migration to SAP BI. For more senior resource(s) a proven ability to define the approach to data migration (including methodology/tool selection), and to accurately estimate skill and staffing requirements. Also demonstrated experience of implementing data governance/data management processes and solutions. A professional with regards to knowledge and experience of managing and mentoring SAP data professionals. People Skills: • Will successfully combine strong leadership skills with sound technical knowledge and ability to clearly communicate key recommendations to clients. • Track record of creating enduring client relationships based on trust, successful business development and credible programme execution • Has developed relationships of mutual trust with people inside and outside of their organisation based on respect, integrity, positive regard and an appreciation of the uniqueness of the individual • Willingness to commit significant amount of time to develop themselves, and other individuals, teams, and the SAP community within IBM. • Fluent English. Based in the UK, but willing to work across UK and Ireland with some international travel. Candidates at the most senior level will also be expected to act as the focal point for Data Migration within our UK SAP practice. Responsibilities for this will include developing a point of view on different methods and tools, enriching our overall capability and developing a career path from graduates through to senior Data experts. Support of recruitment will also be required as we look to grow this area.

Required Bachelor's Degree English: Fluent
