Job description
The Senior International Investigator will work with high level, complex and sensitive matters as identified in CHQ Legal Instruction 118. Matters routinely assigned include threats or acts of violence against senior executives, actual or potential loss of intellectual property, external frauds, foreign or domestic economic espionage, terrorism, piracy, counterfeiting and other investigations as requested by senior management and the VP of Security.

Extensive experience investigating information losses, leaks and espionage, as well as, extensive experience working for or with federal law enforcement agencies is expected. The candidate will also have an established base of close working relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and will also need extensive experience working criminal investigations at a national level.

The role will require close working relations with law enforcement agencies around the world which will require a current security clearance. Additionally, the role will offer advice, counsel and guidance to less experienced IBM security team members world wide in the area of information losses and counter espionage.

They will develop Lesson Learned charts for the Security VP at the conclusion of the most significant investigations and will also work with business leaders to suggest and implement improvements based on the investigative results and help design improvements to the current CHQ security counter espionage and information loss programs.

The Senior International Investigator will interact with senior leaders in the company, as well as, have interaction with customers, vendors and contractors.

  • Ability to interact with senior leaders, customers, vendors and contractors : Mastered
  • English: Fluent
