- To lead and develop the sales strategy for the South East England region on behalf of the client focusing on the most significant buying centres for the intermediated channels.
- Develop board-level relationships, taking the lead with sales presentations and / or negotiations in order to deliver agreed sales targets for the group and the wider Savings division corporate objectives.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy: Define, develop, and lead the region’s annual sales strategy to profitably expand the UK sales distribution by acquiring new partners and through growing existing distribution capability.
- Sales activity: Plan, execute, and frequently report progress for each account, keeping the company Sales Director informed of remedial action plans to ensure sales targets are achieved. Lead the coordination of the non-sales activity, for example marketing and PR in the region, to ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised and key clients are provided with relevant and timely information.
- Product Development: Actively use client market and product development feedback to influence the Marketing and Product Development Directors to develop and update marketing literature and products to enable sustained sales growth.
- Relationship Management. Establish and maintain appropriate level network of contacts within key accounts, the company, and all internal contacts to ensure effective communication between all partners, ensuring the needs of the account are given appropriate representation in terms of products, service, support and systems.
- Represent the brand: Build a professional external profile for the company with key competitors and key clients by exhibiting behaviours in line with the five company values (available upon appointment) thus developing the group brand awareness.
- Technical Expertise: Lead regular activities within the sales team to ensure a high level of understanding of the asset class in maintained, and ensure opportunities are explored to maintain subject matter expertise across a range of asset classes. Work with the category manager and the company product specialist to ensure the category business objectives are met.
- Treating Customers Fairly (TCF): Ensure all activity is in accordance with the Group’s requirements and regulatory duties, including that customers are treated fairly in line with the company’s Customer Experience and TCF Policy.
Person specification
- Significant Relationship Management experience within the Advisory space is essential.
- You will have experience of working within the Financial Services, particularly in Asset Management.
- You will have a demonstrable track record in delivering significant sales and growth within your account/s.
- Qualifications: You will be IMC qualified and ideally be educated to degree level. And IFA related qualification would also be desirable.
- This role is home based but will require candidates to travel extensively across the South East of England on a weekly basis.
