Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial individual with solid experience in Asia, working in the financial industry with institutional clients, especially in securities services, asset management and transaction banking.
Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial individual with significant experience in Asia working in the financial industry with institutional clients, especially in securities services, asset management and transaction banking.
Key responsibilities
  1. Define and drive the client development strategy for South East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam)
  2. Maximize overall revenues and profitability by prioritizing and addressing the relevant client segments and geographies
  3. Ensure the Sales & RM teams sell the largest combination of products to clients to maximize client profitability through a relevant product mix
  4. Ensure the RM and Client Service teams deliver a delightful client experience meeting and exceeding client expectations
  5. Work with Marketing and Communications to define and implement a plan to become the #1 brand in securities services
Experience/Skills
  • Proven track record in driving sales performance and business growth in financial services businesses in South East Asia
  • Strong market connections and demonstrated ability to reach executive levels at targeted institutions
  • Proven ability in strategic thinking and business planning and execution
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communicator, both internally and externally
  • Integrity and team player
  • Resilience
  • Fluency in English (with local language capability an advantage)
  • An effective bridge between Western and Asian cultures
