with a strong presence in the US are looking for an Oversight Manager to
oversee their Transfer Agency function in London.
A city-based asset management firm with a
strong presence in the US are looking for an Oversight Manager to
oversee their Transfer Agency function in London. Looking after the
wholesale arm of the funds (based in London), this position has
responsibility for managing the relationship with the Transfer Agent
including handling all aspects of service delivery.
Primary responsibilities of the role involve:
Managing the operational function of the wholesale funds and acting as the primary contact for the Transfer Agent regarding all aspects of the relationship including AML and KYC.
Develops and maintains an in-depth understanding of regional business practices of SICAV clients in key jurisdictions.
Manage overall service provided by the Transfer Agent.
Oversees the intermediary payment process working alongside Corporate Finance and the Transfer Agent.
Travelling to distribution partners and service providers as required.
The successful candidate is likely to have:
A Bachelor's Degree or significant work related experience
Significant industry experience with Operations and Transfer Agency experience being essential
An understanding of the department's target markets, its distributors and general infrastructure of the funds industry, particularly in Europe.
A strong network of contracts within the Funds industry.
Strong relationship management skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
