to insure that we design and build quality into our products.
We are looking for a highly capable Analytical chemist to join our team at Brussels (Belgium) or Newcastle (UK). Successful applicant will join the strong and dynamic team strengthening Analytical capability for F&HC plant laboratories.
Responsibilities:
· You
will be responsible to provide a linkage between R&D and Plant QC
laboratories, providing training and coaching to QC laboratory staff.
· Lead downstream development and deployment of Analytical test methods based on present and future business need.
· Partner
with R&D during development, validation and potentially automation
of new methods to achieve best synergy and efficiency.
· Partner with project teams to understand and implement evolving manufacturing plant measurement needs.
· Connect with external experts and resources to drive internal expertise to a higher level.
Qualifications
· Degree
in Analytical Chemistry (preferably postgraduate qualification),
relevant work experience with a range of analytical techniques would be
advantageous.
· Must combine high level technical expertise with excellent partnering, coaching, and communication skills.
· Must be able to concisely summarize strategies and recommendation and advocate them verbally
· Role will provide opportunity to travel within EMEA region (estimated 15-20%)
