American Express International Currency Cards (ICC) is looking for a Subject Matter Expert who can provide expertise and support to our team of Centurion Personal Managers (PM’s). You will be an important part of the support network for your colleagues’ client portfolio, providing pro-active and expert knowledge and advice on all enquiries relating to Travel, Concierge and Card Servicing. ICC are the issuer of American Express Cards in US Dollars and Euros. Centurion is the flagship product in the portfolio and plays a significant role in the overall profitability of the business. With changing consumer needs, this role will play a key part in maintaining our competitive edge and in providing the ultimate in personal service. The PM’s will be looking to you for your expertise and insight in order to provide a seamless service to their client portfolio. You will have a background and network in the Luxury Travel or Concierge Industry or a strong background in Card Account Servicing. Your up-to-date knowledge and your ability to put together bespoke solutions to meet client needs will be essential to your success in this role. You will work with the PM’s to build and maintain accurate profiles of the clients which you will then pro-actively manage in order to anticipate the client needs and service travel, concierge and card requests effectively. You will complete regular account analysis to anticipate potential issues and intervene where required to ensure minimal impact to our important customer portfolio. You will partner with the PM’s to provide expert knowledge, research and fulfilment of customer requests. An important part of this will also be to partner with internal and external business partners to build and leverage strong working relationships to achieve exceptional levels of servicing. The role will involve a significant amount client & partner interaction in order to deliver a high quality seamless customer experience at all times.

- Developing a close working relationship with the PM’s within your team in addition to a good knowledge of the portfolio of High Value Centurion customers your team will be servicing. You will need to have a passion for delivering an outstanding and seamless customer experience.
- Advising on and completing customer requests and providing expertise on Centurion products or services, travel destinations & concierge enquiries, you will need previous experience of the Luxury Travel or Concierge Industry or a strong background in the Card Servicing business in order to provide a high level of support and expertise to your colleagues.
- You will need to be able to build strong and influential relationships with customers, colleagues and external partners and be able to leverage these to drive a positive experience for the customer. Excellent communication skills are essential.
- You will be an ambassador to the American Express and Centurion brands, therefore, will need to maintain the highest level of integrity & professionalism.
- You will be an excellent time manager with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise your workload at all times.
- A strong team ethic and desire to share best practice, industry knowledge and insight to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- You will need to be pro-active and take responsibility for following up on outstanding enquiries and anticipating potential problems.
- As this role will be working with a portfolio of primarily London based clients, a thorough insight into the current social trends in addition to an excellent geographical knowledge of the area will be beneficial.
