Ensures Dell’s products and services are sold to specified customer segments (via telephone, web, or e-mail) through the effective management of inside sales team. Represents, communicates and executes on specific sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.
• Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
• Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
• Owns achieving their assigned sales quota.
• Provides direct supervision and coaching to Inside Sales Account team, Product Specialists and/or skilled, support individual contributors in inside sales organizations.
• Assigns tasks, checks work at frequent intervals, and maintains schedules of team.
• Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
• Focuses on delivering a positive customer experience according to Dell standards.
• Interacts with cross-functional groups (e.g., Services, Software and Peripherals, Finance, Operation) to solve business and customer issues.
• May be responsible for quota setting at the team/individual level.
Leadership, Guidance and Problem Solving:
· Set clear project and priorities objectives and time frames
· Provides guidance and technical advice to the team as well as support for customer engagement
· Adapts communication levels and techniques for different audience’s levels internal/external.
· Full team performance management
· Assumes full responsibility of sales objectives and targets and the team deliverance
· Analyse quantitative data and trends
· Distils a variety of source data and information
· Identifies what additional data and resource is required for the team and business
· Anticipates operational issues and develops preventative measures
· Solves problems impacting the area in a systematic and clear manner that can be understood by colleagues and team members.
