The Solution Programme Director owns and drives HCIT deployments across multiple sites. There will be multiple customer stakeholders to manage at DOH, Regional Health Authorities or CXOs . The SPD manages a complex commercial environment with a changing scope. The SPD has full contract management throughout the implementation until handover to Service and is responsible for delivering to deadlines and targets. Also, manages all stakeholders internally and externally to deliver on the plan.
  • Lead implementation advisor for Sales during pre-sales phase 
  • Lead contract negotiator for the Information Technology Professional Services 
  • Exceptional communication skills essential in order to manage multiple stakeholder groups (internal and external) and to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical colleagues 
  • Strong customer focus & orientation during project implementation; a customer-first attitude and understanding customer behavior; anticipation, assessing and responding timely to changing customer needs. Taking ownership of customer complaints 
  • Driving Sales execution with financial understanding of key financial metrics, cost definition and margins. Full financial responsibilioty for the programme, revenue and margin. 
  • Subcontractor selection and management 
  • Provide technical advice on current technology – storage, servers, data centres, networking 
  • Advisory/Leader of Change Management 
  • “Sell” implementation to the customer during pre-sales meetings 
  • Coordinate all GE and sub-contractor teams during the execution of the programme 
  • Act as the primary point on contact for the customer during the programme 
  • Full inventory management for the programme 
  • Manage customer expectation and satisfaction 
  • At times, hands-on project management will be required
    Detailed pre-sales support including: 
  • Infrastructure advice 
  • ITPS effort estimation 
  • Implementation schedule construction 
  • Implementation negotiation
  • Degree - level education in engineering/software discipline/economics or comparable 
  • Strong influencing skills to operate in a matrix environment. 
  • Extensive experience in delivering software solutions in a client/server environment 
  • Expertise of programme management, including finance and leadership skills 
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems, data centres and cloud offerings 
  • Awareness of legal and legislative aspects and public healthcare 
  • Training, coaching and mentoring across the regions; providing effective coaching to peers 
  • Fluent English language
