Organizational Communications Managers for GE Healthcare drive the development and execution of the company’s functional and employee communications strategy. In addition, they will be responsible for executing on specific projects related to GE Healthcare’s overall communications strategy and global messaging. This role reports directly to the Director of Employee Engagement in the United States and will be located in the United Kingdom.
1. Being the communicator for two GEHC function leaders: HR and Marketing, including responsibility for the development of their internal strategic communications plan and programs.
2. Develop a long-term comprehensive, global communications plan to educate GEHC employees on the company’s business strategy; partner with the global communications teams in the products and regions to execute.
3. Management of a team of resources responsible for helping the Employee Engagement Team execute on their commitments.
4. Occasional partnership with GE Healthcare’s Global Communications team on cross-business opportunities like culture change and development of common processes.

Quality Specific Goals:

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
1. Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing, or a related field and proven communications experience OR extensive communications experience covering organizational communications, PR or marketing communications
2. Must have the ability to develop and execute strategic communications plans and also deliver at the tactical level
3. Strong written communication, technical, social media and planning skills with demonstrated experience speaking and writing clearly and convincingly
4. Experience working across multiple levels and functions; able to clearly communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver key messages effectively both verbally and in writing
5. Experience with and knowledge of print, video and web technologies
6. Working knowledge of English language (oral and written)

3. Prior experience in developing and executing global communications strategies for senior executives, including writing communications plans, storytelling, and using the (digital) communications tools.
