Provide support in the design and implementation of the inorganic growth strategy of GE Oil & Gas, including supporting the BD Leader and senior members of the team in executing diligence and strategic evaluation of acquisitions, JV’s, dispositions, and other inorganic opportunities.
  • Analyze deal opportunities from strategic, operational, and financial aspects 
  • Prepare deal recommendation and proposal packages 
  • Develop detailed financial models for various types of transactions 
  • Work closely with BD Leaders and the BD Finance organization on all M&A-related financial issues including valuation, deal structuring and accounting issues.
  • Bachelor degree in engineering, finance or business from an accredited college or university 
  • Proven work experience in Finance, M&A / business development, consulting or investment banking 
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills 
  • Willingness to travel significantly at times 
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience working on financial statement analysis and valuation methodologies (DCF methodology, synergies calculation, accounting principles) 
  • Experience working with market information tools and performing public company financial analysis (understanding financial statements, multiple valuations and EV/Market cap calculations) 
  • Ability and availability to travel 
  • Experience in M&A, investment banking for the O&G industry 
  • Ability to work in a highly independent and intensely results-oriented environment 
  • Curious and eager to learn, able to operate with high degree of autonomy, hard worker and team player 
  • Able to make proposals and recommendations based on own findings and interact with senior leadership of the company 
  • Strong communication skills and outgoing personality 
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a solid financial background
