The role will be responsible for the compilation and submission of all Commercial aspects of our Subsea Tree and milti-product proposals, helping secure good quality new capital business for GE Oil & Gas's Subsea organisation.

Ownership of cost models for Subsea Systems tree business
  • Coordinate across functions and regions to obtain information to create a quality proposal response 
  • Contribute to presentations for, and participate in, the risk review process 
  • Support Global Tree System Tender Managers & Commercial Managers 
  • Maintain the bid register via Enquiry Management Database to log opportunities and responses 
  • Liaising with Global Manufacturing Centres to collate equipment manufacturing costs and delivery 
  • Prepare and collate necessary information for commercial risk registers, ensure correct mitigations are captured 
  • Take broader responsibility to manage the preparation of smaller project and budgetary quotations 
  • Completion of cash flows to ensure suitable milestone payment & cancellation terms are agreed 
  • Prepare and maintain benchmark comparison data for pricing 
  • Read and review tenders to understand commercial risks and impacts 
  • Complete the ITT cost and pricing tables 
  • Support the sourcing (procurement) team in obtaining quotations and costing for vender supplied components 
  • Assist in responding to commercial clarifications during tender phase 
  • Completion of handover documentation to the execution teams upon contract award 
  • Liase with Project execution teams to ensure constructive feedback is captured in future bids.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Business, Finance, Engineering or a comparable degree from an accredited university or college. 
  • Highly numerate and at least intermediate level Excel skills. 
  • Effective communicator and influencer, comfortable dealing with all levels of the organisation.
Whilst not essential for the right candidate a technical working knowledge of Subsea Oil & Gas equipment / products (Wellheads, Xmas Trees and associated controls, connection and distribution systems) would be desirable.
