This role can be located at any one of PII's locations in Doha, Cramlington or Kansas City.This role will be responsible for generating Integrity Management/Non-standard Integrity Engineering/Software opportunities and subsequent development to order conversion globally. There will be a requirement for regular global travel as part of this role.
  • Provide overall solicited or non-solicited bid management of Integrity Management/Non-standard Integrity Engineering/Software proposals including technical scope of work, costing and proposal generation with Com Ops support and ensure timely, value-based proposal delivery. 
  • Provide direction and tactical and technical input during ITO process to ensure project execution and operational risks are identified and fully considered within the development of opportunities and proposals are operationally and commercially sound and executable with risks mitigated at tender stage. 
  • Develop key IM/Software projects and develop strategies to maximize, grow or extend scope. 
  • Manage key PIMS/Software customer accounts, lead strategy and tactical actions in line with overall Sales strategy for IM/Software business development within the regions. Identify, develop and secure new contracts for IM/Software as key account customer development role. Own IM key account orders targets. 
  • Ensure IM/SW contracts T’s & C’s are compliant with business and corporate objectives. Lead deal reviews with Com Ops support. 
  • Co-ordination of Com Ops and PII resources where required for the development of IM technical/commercial proposal submissions, provide technical and commercial sales support management for IM/Software tenders. 
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with PII regional sales and product leaders to identify and progress IM/SW opportunities through to orders. 
  • Drive project upselling opportunities with PM’s including customer visits when required. 
  • Recommend and provide support to new products necessary to develop IM/Software growth. 
  • Provide IM/SW consultancy within ITO for the purpose of deriving and developing IM/SW scope and drafting technical/commercial proposals and tender submissions. Lead/organize client workshops. 
  • Act as a key commercial contact for customers during ITO phase 
  • Actively participate and lead contract negotiations around technical scope, terms and conditions 
  • Provide IM consultancy support within OTR where required.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Order intake, forecasting & reporting for IM/SW key accounts contributing to the S2 operating plan. 
  • Key account & relationship management with existing IM/SW customers to ensure customer satisfaction, project services pull thru and long term account strategy. 
  • Strategic account planning 
  • Identify, develop and close new IM/SW key account opportunities. 
  • Support and direct Consultants and sales teams via commercial and sales development of IM/SW opportunities. 
  • Bid management of IM/Software proposals from opportunity identification to bid award. 
  • Execution of and ongoing management of contracting strategies and approaches to ensure superior profitability and project success. 
  • Implementation of commercial positioning and modeling strategies to support Consultant and sales led IM/SW opportunities.
  • Degree in Engineering/Business/Marketing/Economics or equivalent technical discipline. 
  • Strong Pipeline or Integrity Industry relevant experience, ideally within a pipeline management, operations and/or project environment including knowledge of the processes and activities underlying pipeline integrity services core competencies. 
  • Proven ability/significant experience in international projects/contracts management and understanding of basic financial accounting. 
  • Customer focused and committed to delivering high quality services. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with communication and presentation skills. 
  • Influencing, negotiating and analytical skills 
  • Knowledge of risk based contract drivers. 
  • Able to manage a high workload, with good proficiency in utilizing applicable software and sales tools. 
  • Expected to work unsupervised on a day-to-day basis with the global sales, commercial operations, consulting teams and project management functions of both ILI and IS.
  • Experience on Pipeline Products and Services portfolio and on CSA in particular. 
  • GB certified (GE Employees Only).
