GE Capital’s Undergraduate Intern Programme is a 12-month placement that aims to provide students with real work experience related to their degree. With major offices across the UK, we are offering 2 Human Resources placements in Bristol & Reigate, Surrey.
Work with the HR team across a range of HR processes and procedures, gaining practical hands on experience of a HR function

Full ownership for the Intern Program, ensuring we attract and onboard our interns across the business

Support to HR Compliance on key projects, including record management, job description library maintenance and invoice management

Responsible for producing and analysing key HR statistics including absence levels, overtime, staff turnover, recruitment costs etc.

Support our training program, including owning and maintaining the training dashboard, inviting employees to attend training, co-ordination with trainers and updating employee learning records and tracking all training related costs

To generally support the UK HR team with all administration requirements and all other ad hoc duties.

Through the internship, the individual will gain a valuable insight into the operation of a successful business, having responsibility in a range of areas. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide an excellent start into a career in HR.
HR, Psychology or related degree on a 4-year sandwich course
