Reporting to the Rental Maintenance Program Manager, this position is part of the Rental Fleet & Equipment team, a key part of the role is to provide clear and accurate information to the rental teams globally regards maintenance procedures and processes. Will also be a global point of contact for manufacturing engineering related queries on rental maintenance process improvements to ensure best practice and rollout of these globally across rental maintenance locations.
  • Safety and Compliance is paramount in all aspects of the role and must be adhered to at all times 
  • To create manufacturing instructions and routings for rental asset maintenance 
  • Bring new ideas and positive support to the current process 
  • Design necessary fixtures and tooling for rental maintenance process improvements 
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and cycle times across all rental tool activities and processes 
  • Participate in LEAN initiatives for rental activities/process improvements 
  • Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in rental activities/processes 
  • Ensure that the work is carried out in the correct timescales to meet customer delivery dates 
  • Be the connection between Rental to Engineering, Shop and Field Services initiatives 
  • Participate in rental process related presentations as required and take accountability to drive some of the process improvements and reviews 
  • Contribute to the overall rental maintenance strategy and manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise.
  • Relevant experience in a previous Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering position 
  • Subsea or heavy mechanical technical experience 
  • Prefered time served or degree qualified in mechanical or similar discipline.
  • Strong quality and safety focus
