| Working in the Fleet Marketing team within the GE Capital UK business, this role will encompass the concept development, production, management and measurement of all communications related marketing initiatives with the objective of re-enforcing our brand objectives of delivering a value adding, consultative service. | |
| The core objectives of the Marketing & Brand Communications Executive will be to: • Lead and own the fleet business brand identity and overall brand positioning • Manage all customer and driver marketing communication programmes • Develop and maintain a new business programme aimed at driving business growth • Instigate and drive PR programme • Deliver ancillary services sales promotion plans to drive service growth initiatives • Authorship, support and development of White papers and driver communications suite The successful candidate will utilise the internal Siebel CRM databases and will make recommendations as to the most cost effective ways of segmenting and targeting all data and campaigns to achieve the goals that govern this role. Translating the key messages and customer strategy into actionable events, such as awareness campaigns and sales promotion activity will be managed by several external agencies and the briefing and management of these agencies will also fall under this role. Specific Responsibilities include; • Overall marketing & commercial budget management and ownership • Completing Customer data analysis, segmentation and targeting recommendations • Measurement and effectiveness analysis of marketing communication programmes • Work with New Product Development function to ensure effective customer launches • Scope and produce customer point of sale and sales toolkit support material • Drive development, management and tracking of the Fleet UK PR programme • Own fleet marketing communication element of all web-sites / micro-sites • Lead and facilitate all exhibitions/events • Integration of digital & social media marketing into our planning | |
| The successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and experience: • Business degree or equivalent professional experience • Proven professional marketing communications experience; integrated communications strategy development and tactical implementation – either from working in a Corporate or Agency environment • Proven project management skills delivering on time and within budget • Strong analytical/database management expertise with requisite PC skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to work at granular level for extended periods. • Capable of leading with minimum supervision • A creative, innovative thinker • Strong interpersonal skills • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with solid presentation skills • Ability to work and produce high quality output within a team environment | |
