The Ideal candidate has the experience and expertise to lead and drive results in the Subsea Offshore business. This individual must demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals and show discipline in driving materials processes.
Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activity: contribute to material procurement timing, order release timing requirements, available capacity, & lead-times.
Own the Master Production Schedule & slot plans for Offshore products and ensure a consistent handoff of planning information to the production work cells so that the MPS and production schedules are synchronized.
Perform strategic Make / Buy analysis.
Lead capacity requirements planning (CRP) processes by gathering & loading information into planning tools, analyzing data, and providing regular updates to Offshore leadership.
Interface with OTR teams and Manufacturing cells to track and report production progress
Gather production metrics and periodically report Offshore fulfillment
Ensure data integrity in the MRP systems
Make use of business forecast with easy to access and transparent data & translate into forecast information for sourcing & manufacturing medium/long-term planning.
Lead scheduling discussions with the region/platform to focus on a rolling 13-week outlook as well as quarterly delivery for Offshore
Lead advanced order process and PO requests for long lead material to meet slot plan.
Coordinate capacity & long-term planning for both sourcing & manufacturing to ensure accurate delivery dates are given to ITO team during the bidding process. Understand engineering capacity and constraints.
Identify long-term supply chain constraints & coordinate with sourcing & plant manager to develop fulfillment plans.
Perform inventory analysis, data collection, reporting and initiates for Offshore products.
Support the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) business cycles for budgeting, revenue and cost planning, and inventory forecasting.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma GE with experience in a manufacturing or engineering role)
Experience in manufacturing or engineering.
Prior master scheduling experience is preferred
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong influencing skills within a matrix organization
