The UK Pension Manager is responsible for the tactical management of the various pension plans in the UK. Reporting directly to the European Pension & Benefits Manager and part of the UK C&B team, you will drive and maintain good relationships with the various Trustee boards and Pension Providers, simplify old arrangements where possible and be a key contact for the Payroll & Benefits Teams for query solution and project management.
This is an interesting and challenging role for an experienced pension manager who combines an ability to comprehend and simplify various pension plans with superb communications skills and a passion for driving business results.

- Build and maintain good relationships with each of the providers, advisors and trustees on each plan
- Organise and simplify the various arrangements including wind up, merger, buy out
- Research to obtain market data and industry trends within UK Pensions
- Identify compliance with legal and local rules and regulations
- Education of broader HR community of pension developments
- Further develop employee communications via all methods and branding
- Advise on commercial activities impacting pensions, e.g. re-structuring’s, disposals
- Support Payroll & Benefits team in the UK for question/issue resolution and project management
- Participate in GGO C&B initiatives and projects
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Past technical experience in all aspects of Pensions, and with specific experience of managing valuations, s75 debts/apportionments, employer covenant assessments
- Proven organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and solid quantitative and analytical background
- Excellent interpersonal, consulting, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to navigate a matrix organization.
- Able to effectively manage a large and complex workload.
- Experience in merger/acquisition and/or integration activities
