Role Summary/Purpose	To fabricate large/ small bore tubing for fitment to X- Tree and Choke Bridge product or assembly as a Hub spool to the project specifications. Including and not as regular the fabrication of Project specific tooling for shipment direct to the customer all under the observation of CSWIP/ or Customers Nominated Inspectors.
Essential Responsibilities	Candidate must be able to weld from small bore ¾” lines up to large bore 8” spools to various weld preparations  Candidate must be able to cut and prepare pipe work prior to fabrication  Candidate must be able to accurately tie in welds to maintain critical dimensions within a Hub Spool Assembly to X-Trees and Choke Bridge Modules  This will also include the fabrication of own bullet materials plus fitment of jigs to maintain critical dimensions  Candidate must be able to interpret Engineering Drawings & Specifications provided within the job work pack  Candidate must be able to competently Set up, Monitor and weld the components within the parameters of the specific weld procedure under inspection by a CSWIP inspector and/ or Third Party  In addition be able to utilize and weld to the parameters of the specific weld procedure while utilizing an Arc Weld Logger.  They are responsible to compile & record weld maps and traceability record sheets for Build books and NDT Requisition  They are responsible for understanding and acting upon customer Inspection & Test Plans  They can adhere to and interpret Company quality procedures including accurate operator production stamping  They can adhere to Company Site Rules  They can adhere to Company/ local & National Health, Safety and Environmental policies.  They can understand and adhere to the companies Spirit & Letter plus Policies that maintain the GE work environment such Growth Values.
Qualifications/Requirements	Must be time served with min ASME 6G GTAW/SMAW qualification  Must have C&G or S/NVQ levels 2 or 3 or equivalent  Experience of welding and fabrication of low alloy steels  Experience of welding and fabrication of Super Duplex and duplex stainless steels plus other dissimilar materials such as clad/ lined spools with high alloy content  Fabrication and pipe fitter experience.  Able to work shift patterns of 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights Monday to Friday  Able to work overtime weekdays and weekends.
