SUMMARY:



Your role will include maintaining overall pricing integrity within the store as well as providing basic maintenance and support of store computers and retail systems. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.



DUTIES:

    Responsible for all price and/or product change batch application and tag generation.
    Manage, audit and apply POS/Scale/Item data batches received from Hosting system.
    Facilitate communications between Product Teams and Regional Data Control as needed.
    Perform regular audits of all products in all teams for accurate price, tag and sign information.
    Communicate scanning discrepancies as required.
    Possess basic knowledge of computer function and programs.
    Submit login requests to the sharepoint portal.
    Follow through on all IT/Data related Team Member questions and requests.
    Effectively communicate with all Team Members regarding proper department operations.
    Attend all department, store and training meetings when scheduled.
    Assist other departments when necessary to facilitate customer service.
    Act as a liaison between Metro, Regional, and/or Central IT and store personnel.
    Practice safe use of all tools and equipment required by the position, practice proper care and maintenance of all equipment.  Adhere to cleaning and maintenance schedules
    Know and practice proper lifting techniques, report safety violations and hazards immediately.
    Regular attendance is essential.
    Perform other duties as assigned by Metro SSI, Regional IT and Store Leadership.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    Ability and desire to learn
    Ability to work well within a team.
    Good communication and organizational skills
    Able to meet physical job requirements and able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
    Must be self-motivated and solution-oriented.
    Is available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.
    Must have strong computer skills.
    Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    Proactive approach to problem-solving.
    Ability to embrace change with enthusiasm



Essential Job Functions:

    Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
    Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
    Bend and lift loads.  Push and pull carts.
    Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
    Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
