GB-England-Cambridge Assistant Tax Advisor – Business Tax Advisory Our business tax professionals help businesses meet complex demands for UK tax reporting, compliance, planning, strategy and controversy. By integrating deep technical and industry knowledge with established methodologies, they work with a wide range of businesses and corporates to help them develop and implement effective, practical and sustainable tax strategies. Our business tax advisory professionals help clients through the challenges of planning, financial accounting, tax compliance and maintaining effective relationships with the tax authorities. They work with organisations and individuals to structure transactions and operations in a tax-effective manner. This includes helping clients to mitigate tax risk, comply effectively with tax laws and take into account the prospect of change. Your client responsibilities Quick learner; able and willing to carry out a range of client and technical work Commercially aware with a general interest in business and finance A degree of flexibility to meet client /department needs and deadlines    Skills and Experience Team player; ability to integrate with new teams quickly Outgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output Study support may be available towards the ICAS, ATT or CTA exams as applicable Good numerical skills          Calm & methodical, can adhere to and manage deadlines Excellent communication skills - written, questioning and listening Negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy Self starter; willing to be accountable for their decisions and output Computer literate Who we are At EY we support you in achieving your unique potential both personally and professionally.
