is investing in global tools and technologies to support it in
connecting and collaborating easily and flexibly with colleagues and
clients, both locally and across geographic boundaries. We will be using
Microsoft’s messaging and collaboration tools — Outlook for email and
calendar; Lync for instant messaging, real–time video, phone calls,
audio and web conferences, and instant messaging; and Collaboration
tools enabled by SharePoint for our intranet website, team sites and
document and knowledge management.
The
program responsible for delivering these changes is Messaging and
Collaboration; the IT Services Sharepoint Solution Center Leader has
responsibility for the Collaboration component of the program. The
Collaboration stream is tasked with laying the technology foundation for
the SharePoint solution, enabling E&Y service lines (Tax, Advisory,
TAS and Audit) and other functions to bolt on their customised
SharePoint solutions.
ResponsibilitiesThe
Sharepoint Solution Center Leader is one of the most senior roles
within the M&C portfolio, reporting into the M&C Program Lead
and responsible for:
• The overall global Sharepoint platform, including governance, scope management and single point of escalation for all Sharepoint related issues going forward
• Overall management of the Solution Centre, including people process and suppliers. This includes the leadership of 20 employees and approx. 80 outsourced contractors
• Planning and management of the workload pass through the solution centre, including application migration, application development and overall Sharepoint platform support.
• Strategic thought leadership to establish a world class support model within EY
• Working across multiple regions and multiple cultures – to establish a solution centre that has a global vision and empowering a global mind set
• Managing an annualized budget of $20M
• Initiates, builds and maintains productive customer relationships with all of the Services Line Technology Officers

Experience required• Previous experience leading global implementations
• Have a large consultancy background with experience in delivering large complex transformation programs supported by an IT back bone
• Proven track record in managing geographically dispersed, diverse teams including employees, contractors and 3rd party resources

Skills/Competencies required• Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change

• Strong executive presence
• Strong financial and people leadership skills
