The Human Capital Management (HCM) Division comprises of centrally and divisionally aligned teams who specialise in addressing the needs of particular client groups.
HCM is made up of several departments such as Employee Relations who act as the internal consulting group to all levels of employees and management; Leadership and Diversity who help drive the firm’s commitment to attracting and retaining the best and most diverse talent at all levels; Finance who assist in the operation of the division; Pine Street and Goldman Sachs University who are committed to helping our people develop; Recruiting; Reward; Talent Assessment Group who manages the planning, development and talent management processes; Strategy and Management which provides HCM related services and counsel for HCM.
Within the Graduate Recruiting team, we have a number of analyst and associate opportunities across the team supporting both Revenue and Federation divisions as well as being responsible for managing relationships with relevant key target schools. Suitable candidates will have responsibility for maintaining and developing these key relationships and will execute the graduate recruitment cycle in close conjunction with key stakeholders from the business, HCM, and global counterparts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the GS relationship manager with key contacts at universities (i.e. careers services, placement offices, deans, faculties,student societies)
• Drive the recruiting effort for aligned schools – thinking creatively, strategically, commercially and competitively
• Own and drive marketing initiatives on campus (e.g. emails, e-shots, advertisements etc.)
• Project manage and attend all campus events (e.g. information sessions, workshops, case studies, presentations etc.) and interview days
• Work with divisional recruiting teams across EMEA to plan, budget for and execute strategies at each school
• End to end project management of key recruitment pipelines (e.g. Spring Interns, Summer Interns, Work Placement and New Analysts)
• Partner with the business on headcount and business planning
• Keep abreast of trends in recruitment, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking
• Build relationships with key recruiting contacts within the business (e.g. Campus Recruiting Committees) and partner with them on recruiting strategy/business plans
• Work with the business to highlight strong candidates on campus and ultimately develop and coach them throughout the process
• Manage interview and offer process for candidates
• Monitor and help drive the sell process for all candidates once an offer has been extended
• Ensure strategic focus on diversity recruiting efforts
• Work with team members from the cross-divisional recruiting team on projects such as summer intern programme and assessment techniques
• Produce metrics reports analyzing key recruitment metrics and KPIs
• Acquire expertise in global recruiting technology platform
Preferred Qualifications
• Results-orientated: ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients• Strong project management skills: ability to handle multiple priorities and project plan on an annual basis
• Commercial awareness: ability to maximise ROI from efforts on campus and maintain focus on annual recruiting priorities
• Strong team player: ability to work effectively in teams
• Broad knowledge of the financial services industry: knowledge of campus recruiting a plus
• Ability to thrive in a deadline driven and fast paced environment
• Must be willing to travel extensively
Basic Qualifications
• Functional expertise: minimum of 1 year's relevant work experience for analyst roles and 3 years for associate roles• Partnering with clients and colleagues: solid communication and relationship management skills; client facing and credible; strong negotiation skills; ability to develop internal and external relationships; ability to manage diverse stakeholders and to build networks quickly
• Strong analytical skills: critical analysis, forward thinking; ability to foresee the impact of emerging trends/patterns
