Partner Support Rep PRM Theatre Lead

Job Location: Cork, Ireland


Reporting to the Partner Support Center Team Lead, this role is vital in terms of providing support to EMC partners in a Variety of areas. The EMEA Partner Support Center (PSC-EMEA) is a single point of contact for pre- and post-sales support to EMC Partners. Specifically the PRM Theatre lead is responsible for representing EMEA at a global level in terms of taking into account EMCs Channel Strategy, local business requirements & identifying ways to improve efficiency and the partner experience through the enhancement of our PRM tool.



Duties and responsibilities:






  • Work with key stakeholders and management to identify processes that can be streamlined taking into account EMCs Overall Business Strategy.



  • Understand PRM enhancements, justification & value, prioritize based on this.



  • Provide feedback, input & suggestions on behalf of EMEA to the wider team.



  • Look for gaps in terms of existing process & investigate ways to leverage our tools to make an improvement e.g. GAF Process, Lead Optimization etc.



  • Act as a face to the business to work with wider teams such as BTG to implement changes.



  • Work closely Salesforce Competency Center to ensure alignment between CRM and PRM.



  • Looking at ways to scale Salesforce in terms of what is happening in business operations e.g. case functionality.



  • Looking at ways to make enhancements to improve the partner experience.



  • Optimize SFDC utilization: Support IT roadmap planning; Set Channel Priorities & IT requirements; Drive globally consistent processes.



  • Support strategic channel priorities – Support ongoing channel business priorities; provide theater specific input, drive operational processes.



  • Use skills to successfully negotiate and resolve conflicts which may arise.



  • Strive to meet published service level agreements, with balanced response times – due diligence and fast response.



  • Work within the Partner Sales Support team to provide additional support to our channel community.



  • Must be available to cover end of quarter deadlines.



  • Collaborate with other internal functions to ensure best in industry partner experience



  • Drive and Implement PSC Operations processes, this includes Contract Management, Partner Sales Support, Partner Orders and RSA Operations.



  • Use skills to successfully negotiate and resolve conflicts which may arise.















Knowledge






  • Understand EMC Overall Business Strategy.



  • Broader understanding of channel business.



  • Knowledge and experience in Channel Sales Support essential.



  • Proficiency in all business systems to include Channel Express (CXP), Direct Express (DXP), Salesforce (SFDC) and ERP systems.



  • Ability to work on own initiative within a cross cultural team.






  • Experience in system enhancements desirable.



  • Good understanding of Channel hierarch and Territory Assignment.
