To act as the primary interface between the customer and Oil & Gas product teams in support of on-going operational projects; responsible for providing high level operational forecast to be used in the planning of the teams work plans, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
  • Be responsible for overall management and execution of the team
  • Act as a main interface between the customer and GE teams with great visibility inside and outside the company
  • Coordinate with different departments involved in the operational activities
  • Play a proactive role in problems identification and resolution during the pre-planning by highlighting potential areas of concern and promptly driving other departments in solving issues, which may affect the execution
  • Develop and maintain operational schedules
  • Assure timely resolution of customer issues
  • Proven engineering background preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Proven experience in a project management role.
  • Knowledge of GE product lines (SC&P,SSWE & SSPE )
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organization.
  • Prior project management experience
  • Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Work as a field service engineer highly advantageous
  • Team player with professional/positive personal presence
  • Communication skills - Should able to communicate effectively with customers in all types of media
  • Facilitation skills – able to refer to appropriate internal expert in order to resolve client problem
  • Financial/ commercial awareness – Understanding of financial information
  • Technical skills - Ability to provide technical support & solutions to clients
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as circumstances dictates
